Maps downloading issue on lumia 630

Good morning all,

Earlier this week i bought a new lumia 630 after losing my 620 (yes I know ...very stupid).

I wanted to download the maps of several countries. When I try to download new maps it keeps looking for existing maps on my device. At this moment it has been looking for them for several hours. Obviously there are none as I have a new device.

I already tried resetting the phone back to factory settings but that did not help. Anyone else having the same issue?
Is there a solution.

I am experiencing a similar issue (Lumia 630 dual sim) fresh out of the box. When I go to settings -> maps -> download maps, I immediately get the following error message:

"We can't reach the maps library right now. Make sure airplane mode is turned off and check your cellular data or Wi-Fi connection, then try back later"

Try downloading them to the phone rather than a microsd card.
