my lumia 630 wont view my messages or allow access to setting, cany even use the dial pad

So mu lumia 630 runs on windows 10 but its been a while suddenly i cant view messages or settings, photos, dialpad i can only use downloaded software such as whatsapp, twitter, but not preinstalled software

What troubleshooting have you tried?
Have you tried a soft reset?
