Lumia 630 rebooting randomly and hangs a lot.

This problem persists more while using Whatsapp, and Internet explorer. Most web sites on internet explorer hang. Hanging on Whatsapp has become even worse after the latest 'Windows 10 cosmetic update' the Whatsapp team rolled out. Overall my Lumia has become really slow in that the Loading and resuming screen stay for a longer time. Doing a hard reset did not help either.
Has anyone been experiencing this issue?

do you have a microsd card? If yes, remove it and check responsiveness

What OS are you on? Windows phone 8.1 or windows 10 mobile?

that's a bit strange. You're sure you did a hard reset (factory reset)? That should have wiped out all your data and apps and installed 8.1 afresh.

For a clean install, you can use windows device recovery tool that you install on your pc to give your phone a completely new 8.1 install

Yes I did. Two - three times. Haven't tried the recovery tool thing though. Worth a shot.
