HSN-$119
Microsoft-$129
Tmobile-$169

Also will amazon ever have this on stock? I have some amazon credit.
How much was the lumia 521 on release on amazon, was it tmobile pricing or hsn/microsoft pricing?
Also not sure what price to expect, considering the prices are all over the place.

This might be my 521 replacement,if no cheaper phones appear on amazon.(lumia 925)
Is it a worthy upgrade?

I believe the release MSRP was $129 for the 520/1 but I could be wrong. I have no idea what it went for on Amazon. I don't think it was too long before you could find it in the $50 to $80 range, though.

It was either $129 or $139 at release; I don't remember which. At first they were hard to find. I bought a few at Walmart and flipped them on eBay. I bought 4 total and sold 3. The profits from those 3 were enough to pay for a good share of the one I kept. I used it for awhile and got the SIM unlock code from T-Mobile. I later sold it used and got almost as much for it as I paid new. I guess being unlocked raised the value considerably.

I got 2 in 2013 for the cost pictured.
I did get a price adjustment from Amazon because the phone dropped in price hours after I clicked the order button.

One was repaired last month I use it quite often.
The other is sitting in a drawer unused it's never been updated.

Looking at the 635 myself...

I got my 521 for $109.99(New) on ebay on 08/19/13,not sure when it was released in the US.

I have $50 in credit, so that will get me started.

$132/$143 or $185, the pricing makes the difference for me.(with taxes)
I also remembered hearing that tmobile over charges on phones in-store.

I just purchased one at a Microsoft store. Price was $129 plus 2 year warranty promo that adds a back shell or case for $50. Comes in white only, in the box.

Last year, I bought the 520 GoPhone at an AT&T store for $99.99 on the very first day to replace a Samsung S3 that I had trouble with. Within a couple weeks, Amazon had it at $99, but then down to $90. I picked up another @ $90 on Amazon. There were some lightning deals that sold it at $60 within the first couple of months or so.

I remember the 521 started out at $149, but then Wally World and HSN started selling it cheaper at $129 or so.
