Ordered the L635 today for AT&T. I enjoy wireless charging and was thinking of purchasing the following third party QI Module to the phone: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00G4674SU/ref=s9_simh_gw_p107_d0_i7?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=0061J669JR4ZVEA0PMJ2&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=1688200382&pf_rd_i=507846

Has anyone ever used one of these? This one is 750mA output where I have seen others that are 500mA -- does anyone know how many mA the standard Nokia QI Charging plates are?

TIA

I bought something like that for my ATIV S, spec was also 750mA, but in practice the phone itself restricts the charging current to 500mA, like when you connect it to a PC. No problem for me, I charge it at night, and a low charging current keeps the temperature low. When I use the original power adapter and cable it charges at 900mA, so it is possible to charge faster, but then you probably need to connect more pins of the u-usb.

I just ordered a this QI Charger from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HI8JYFE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. It should be here on Thursday.

It appears the replacement shells from Nokia have a curved edge and rounded back where as the stock Matte shells that ship with the phone are more flat. I figure if I remove the foam bumpers that are in the case the QI Charger will fit on the inside. May have to mod the usb opening to be a little larger on the shell but if all works as planned, I will have QI Charging.

I will keep you posted..

I'd say 1 Amp is the recommended floor although higher is better.

I would think 750 and 500 would suffice, just not be very fast.

When I plugged it in, I received a message saying it was charging too low and no charger icon.

I have since returned the phone and changed providers to Verizon...so, sorry I cannot be more help moving forward.
