Why can't I log in to my microsoft account, yet I can with my PC's and laptop

I know my password, I know my email address, I can log in with everything apart from my lumia 635. WHY?

Even I am having trouble in syncing. What I noticed is the hotmail servers are down. Goto settings->accounts->outlook account. Check if you get error, I am getting error code 80070490. What I noticed is server bay402-m.hotmail.com is down. What server do your phone is pointing to?

bay402-m.hotmail.com server is down and that could be reason. Even I am having issue with syncing my account on Lumia 640. What server your phone is pointing to? Check it in settings->email+account
