I've had my Lumia 710 for over a year and I've pretty much had it in a draw for about 6 months. I want to start using it again as my main phone a Sony Xperia Z Ultra is going in for repair and the Lumia is the only device I have that takes a micro sim card.
When I bought it I rooted it and installed a custom rom onto it and now I want to restore it back to stock and update to 7.8. I've followed instructions on XDA Developers [Q] Return to Official/Original lumia 710 ROM - xda-developers to restore it back to stock but I can't get it to run the last section where you have to do a sequence of cable, power, volume down then when it vibrates let go of the power & volume down and press volume up, click start on the pc. I've obviously downloaded the correct firmware that corresponds with my device.
Any ideas?
