Issue related to quick Battery Drainage

my battery is getting drain too quickly, i don't understand the reason
plz tell me the ways to stop it draining too quickly, not the basic ways like off the wifi and something
but some advanced ways.
one reason i can find is that some apps like facebook messenger and hike have push notifications, which is the main cause of draining of battery quickly
so how to stop them to use battery all the time.
i dont need push notifications.

some info about using of my phone:
i use wifi most of time. i have also 2g pack ,which is on all the time.
i use whatsapp, hike , messenger a lot.

i dont listen much songs and dont use camera app.

Under emails section for sync check Download new content and Download email from, once i set it the latter one to Download anytime and the battery was like draining super super fast !
