Theyare both very nice devices. I currently own both. Id say the 925 is gettingdated. It has an older dual core processor, whereas 730 has the quad core 400.If you want 4G just get the 735. Remember 730 is a 3G dual sim variant. Ihave the Grey 730 and it looks very elegant believe it or not... Thereis rumour that they are coming out with more colours (I believe inUK they are already selling a cyan) and the fact that you can change the shellsmeans you will be able to buy them at a later point and swap it with theoriginal.

Just seen on HotUKdeals that the Nokia Lumia 735 is on for ?129.95 as a PAYG upgrade on Carphone warehouse.

Now I've read that all CPW phones are Sim Unlocked, but does anyone know if you actually need to be on one of the networks listed to get the upgrade price? Do they check your phone number etc?

me too. I have a 1520.3 now. Like it a lot. But want a smaller phone for easy to carry and make phone call and text. I will carry both, using 735 as a phone as well as a hotspot for 1520 checking emails, using apps with 1520, browsing web and so on.

I picked one up yesterday. At that price it's a bargain. Already on a rolling 30 day sim contract so no top fee required. One day in and coming from my L820 this phone is fantastic. Can't believe the quality considering the price. Screen is amazing and I actually find I like the on screen navigation which was a concern. Flick it away and more real estate for movies and no accidental button pressing during games. Camera button in action centre works well though if I'm honest I would have preferred dedicated button. I'd turned off glance on my L820 for the last week to 'train' myself and though it's an odd omission considering the OLED screen (the blacks are fantastic) with double tap enabled I don't miss it as much as I thought I would. Overall for ?149 I almost feel like the shop cocked up charging so little. L830 is double the price but in no way is it double the experience.

It feels like the upper phones have shifted forward while the lower phones have shifted backwards.

The 630 is basically a 520, and the 530 might as well be a 510...

Then the 730 is the 820, the 830 is the 920, and 930 is the Icon.

...so, no. I have the 820 now, so I feel like the 730 would basically be like buying the same phone. I'm holding out for the 830, 1020 64GB, or the 1520.

Been thinking alot between 830 & 735 and i didn't want to spend more personal budget just to get couple more pixels because my 735 make excelent pictures, even battery is better when compared with 830. Never regreted.

I looked at the 830 too before just purchasing the 735!

I guess I just like the old style Nokia Lumia 920 look better then the more modern 830 with the aluminum edge. Your post on the 735 makes me smile on the pictures and battery life. Cannot wait to see it in person!
