I just bought a Samsung Galaxy Avant for my daughter. It's a brand new Android phone that was just released. It has a quad core cpu, 1.5 ram, 16gb memory, sdcard slot, front cam, 5mp rear cam with flash, and 4.5 screen. It was 199. I suspect the 730 would compete with a similar phone. I bet it will be no more then $250.

Dual sim version 'MUST' be less than 270 Australian dollars, on line. Otherwise it will disappear like the 720 due to lack of interest.!

The L730 will probably be in the $200-250 range (off-contract). It is, after all, Microsoft's best shot at taking on the Moto G with casual and first-time smartphone buyers.

I am only interested in dual sim cause I work Can-US as a driver..that would avoid me of carrying 2 phones...Actually all phones should have 2 sim card slot. No more of carrying 2 phones

And that dual sim should also be in high-end phone

Lumia 530 is launched at a cheaper price as compared to 520. So I think 730 would be definitely less than ?215 according to a recent price leak, would be around $250 i.e ₹15000-17000

The initial price of a Lumia 925 was about 450-500 (Europe) So that would make a 730 cheaper. I also think the initial price will be 350 euro. Sounds great to me.

What? In the US the Moto G 8gb cost $179, 16gb cost $199, and the 8gb LTE variant (with SD card slot) at $229.

I don't know what you're possibly talking about.

I don't know what he was talking about either. The old Moto G launched at the same price points as the current, I believe, and have gone down since. 730 at $300+ is a non-starter - that won't ship mass units. It has to be on par or undercut similar Android devices to have a chance at selling well. $200-250 730 and you've got my money. If not, going for either the Moto G 4G/LTE or the new version they show off later this week.

Ok so 350 euros a 730, 480 euros for the 930...... Where do you price the 830 then? Knowing moreover that the 630/635 is 139 euros.

Optimistically, I'd say between $200-$250. But realistically speaking, keeping in mind Nokia/Microsoft Mobile's track record, I'd say somewhere between $250-$300.

Price was the problem so far for windows phone.
In indonesia for example ,who would get lumia 630 ( no front cam) for $200 if you can get xiaomi redmi 1s for $150 or moto g for $180

I think Microsoft will hype the retail price to $400 and then heavy discount it after a month or two by $100-$150 to make it look like you getting a bargain. That is what then been doing with the 520 and 630 models. I just going to wait it out till they discount is at the bottom maybe at $225!

I like WP8 OS but hate the exclusivity and limits on compatibility. I with T-Mobile and not really keen on buying another "white" color only phone. LOL!

No way it will be $400, they need a phone to compete with the updated Moto G and other new mid range Android phones which are around $200-250. I just picked up a newly released Samsung Galaxy Avant which is has Kit Kat, quad core, 1.5 GB ram, 16gb storage, 5mp rear camera with flash, sdcard slot, qHD display and front camera for $199. I suspect the 730 may be no more then $250. If not they are making a huge mistake. I also think the 730 will be qHD and the 830 will be 720p. My prediction is the 730 will be $249 and the 830 will be $349.
