Lumia 730 - availability, price and worth

Recently msft launched 730 n 830 at IFA, Berlin. 830 ofcourse has more price and features, but I am from India and I am looking for a budget phone within 16-18k. So, I am waiting for release of 730 in India. I have a 820 n its great but I had read that 6.7 mp of prev. released 720 gave better images than 8mp of 820. anyways, I have started this forum to know its tentative release date in India, estimated pricing, whether its worth the money and an overall discussion... So friends do put in your suggestions and advices.... :smile:

I agree but mostly discussions are on 830... discussions on 730 r very less...

truly speaking I don't want discount.. n I m ready to pay 17k for the device.. but if it comes b4 festive season.. it can capture the market..the way moto G2 is doing though people r not giving good feedbacks like the earlier moto g

It bothers me that they removed the shutter button and the capacitive touch keys. The sharpish corners are a concern too. If they couldve kept the design of the 720, and added the other stuff they did with the 730, like the 720p LED display, and the 5 mp front camera, it wouldve been great.

And they removed things like Dolby sound, glance screen etc :eck:

there is no confirmed news on when it will launch or how it will be priced. waiting for the launch before i decide on my next phone.

I suspect in the US it may be a matter of weeks. I was at a Microsoft store today and they just stocked the new wireless charging docks. It would be nice if it is next week to combat the iPhone 6.

M really losing my patience, friends... Why does msft n nokia dont understand that the buzz that was created on sep 4 launch is slowly fading out.. n dey r not even giving a date of release in india.. its sep 3rd week for god sake.. say something ,msft

Recently 830 was launched in Vietnam. Say around IN₹24k. So 830 would be here in India in say a month. Not all phones will launch first in the upcoming markets(Asian markets)
1320,630,530 all of these phones first came to Asian markets & then to rest of the world. Have patience, MS will launch 730&830 soon

Curiously waiting for these phones to come out...I won't mind spending 17k on the Lumia 730 but to be competetive with the Moto G they should price it around 13-14k and 830 around 25k.
