So I think the 735 is a great buy at just $300 off contract & being able to work on both Tmobile & AT&T LTE. I like the size, the fact that the screen is AMOLED, & don't mind the onscreen keys.

The only thing thats giving me pause is the camera. I know the 730/735 uses a good f/2.4 22mm wide-angle lens, but is it on par with the 830 (resolution aside)? Anyone have both?? Thanks!

No, the Lumia 73X uses a 6.7 mp with a f/1.9 aperture which is nice in low light but the fast stop means close ups are amazing looking but far away details are hard to capture, also no OIS so videos won't look as smooth. the 2.4 wide lens is for the front facing camera which is a 5mp, honestly I think we're heading towards an era where the front camera will rule the back one, I don't see much in the Lumia 830 that merits its price except the Lumia Camera with the advanced features like rich capture, but even that is limited on the 830 (no 4k), Personally I think the 73X is the safer most sound choice and you'll still going to afford a "REAL" flagship when it comes out next year

The main difference is that the 830 is one of Nokia's Pure View cameras and 735 is not.

The 830 is 10mp with optical image stabilisation, 6 element lens and a dedicated camera key on the side of the phone.

The 735 is 6.7mp and lacks all of the above.

Which is better for you will depend on how you use your phone and what you want it to do...
