Why is glance screen not available for Lumia 730 although it has one of the robust hardware.

No, unfortunately its related to the hardware not the software

Sadly no. Glance screen requires display memory and 730 doesn't have it.

look at the phone under light and see for yourself. its kinda deep but the hole can be seen for the LED. Awaiting Windows 10 Mobile LED enabling!

Guys i just discovered that led just use a strong flash or light and put it on left coner of lumia 730 you will see an small whole that is the hidden led and at right side there are two sensors with camera so at left side it is definitelya led and hope so it will work with software updates

The insider preview update for 730/735 gets settings for LED notification feature.However it's not working at all. This will be fix in the future . By the way I am sure there is a LED because some 730's with system errors light that LED by itself.

Hopefully Microsoft will update the firmware for lumia 730/735 to enable this important feature. I doubt that it will come with w10m update, it will probably come some time after they fix the OS stability and what not.

Got updated my Lumia 730 for Windows 10 (Version 10586). There is no option to set LED notification in Notification section. I don't think Microsoft will able to work it out to turn on LED notification light.

my L730 are on official 586.164 yet there no LED on Notification setting, But somehow the LED are Blinking while the battery are 100% depleted and i charge it, it goes on and off for few second and the Battery logo comes up but the LED stops.
