I have a weak 3g network , thus it auto switiching to 2g.

How do force 3 g only in lumia 730. ##3282 or ##3282# doesnt work. I havea weak 3g network , thus it auto switiching to 2g.

Unfortunately with WP 8 there's no option for that, but this will be fixed with Windows10, I can confirm that there's an option (3G only).
I don't recommend installing win 10

Yeah it's in wm 10, but it's not ready for prime time yet

you can set highest connection speed 3g always in mobile+sim setting just try out
