Phone in weird state: most of apps don't run, doesn't see the charger, new weird items in the menu. What could it be?

Hi,
Just found my phone in a very weird state (after a short walk home from work):
1. Most of the apps don't run (don't refresh live tiles, can't be launched from the menu either). Don't have full list yet but among others: skype, msn weather, facebook, facebook messenger, shazam, built in alarm app, msn news, one drive etc
2. There're new items in the menu. Impossible to read full titles but they start as follows:

@{Microsoft.MSBatterySe
@{Microsoft.MSCalendar_
@{Microsoft.MSFileManag
@{Microsoft.MSPodcast_1
3.In the notification bar the following appeared: Microsoft.SkypeApp_kzf8qxf38.....
4.Phone doesn't recognize the charger

Rebooting doesn't help and neither does soft reset

Phone: Lumia 730

Any ideas what it could be and how to fight it?

This is probably the SD card needs a fix .. Connect it to a PC and scan it for errors and it will go away .. I have experienced this before and after scan all went well

Are you on a preview? That sometimes happens after an upgrade.

Try updating in the store. If that fails do a hard reset and restore your last good backup. Hard reset is like a new phone but it gets restored rather quick. Some apps will need to be resetup.
