when compared to some android phone of 1gb ram my lumia 730 is slow

What was the basis of the comparison? Running apps? Calling? Sending SMS? Downloading?

What were the exact steps in comparing the performance of your L730 with a different device?

What OS version is your L730 running?

well the speed of the phone doesn't really depend on the size of your ram, it depends on your clock speed.
