Nokia 735 Wi Fi continually sending data after phone opertating system (Windows 8,1) update

Yesterday (21 March 2016) Nokia 735 reported update available, since updating the WiFi continually shows data being transmitted and battery life has been reduced to just over 1 day down from 3 days. Software reported as Windows 8.1 update 2 OS version 8.10.15148.160. I can not see any particular application running in the background. Do hope MS have not introduced a bug by not checking which WiFi driver was being distributed. Any ideas on what has gone wrong?

update 2 has never been made official for lumia 735, now official release is windows 10 which is available through upgrade advisor.

I did a device recovery reset some months ago and I got again the Update 2 on my 735 country variant/factory-unlocked/sim unlocked/whatever name is cool without ISP around. Probably some ISP (USA ISPs?) like to screw consumers as always..
