Camera button

I want to buy a Lumia 800, but I have one question:

Is the camera button in the way when handling the phone ?

If you mean would you accidentally press it and open the camera app while doing something else, then no.

It's a two stage button with a gentle press for auto-focus and a solid press for the shutter. The gentle press wont cause anything to happen outside of the camera app and the only way you're going to press it hard enough to open the camera app is if you actually put your finger on it to press deliberately.

I've never accidentally pressed the button myself, but even if you did some how manage to; not only does the camera open very quickly, the back button will take you straight back to whatever you were doing before at the exact point you were doing it. But, as I said, you would find it quite difficult to depress it fully by accident.
