Lumia 800 battery calibration issue

I've had a small problem with my 800 since the first battery update and it seems to be getting worse. The battery when getting low will report it has, say, 20% charge or so left. It will happily stay on standby at this point for a good few hours, but if I pick it up and use it even for a minute or two the phone dies totally. If it actually stays on long enough, it usually shuts down within a few seconds of the "battery critically low" waning popping up - which itself can appear mere minutes after the phone enters battery saving mode..

I'm sure the battery is misreporting the true level of power left: 20% might not get you far, but it should be worth more than 90 seconds or so of use.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

I cannot verify your claim primarily because I have changed my habits around how I charge this phone and I feel like I've turned into my apple friends who always seem paranoid about finding a power socket.

Basically, nice looking phone pants battery.

One other thing this phone has done for me recently which my Omnia never did is lock up. It seems to lock up when making calls or receiving calls even texts oddly when in really bad signal areas.

Still perservering with the phone but Nokia are making it hard to love this lump of plastic.
