Sim card error with Lumia 800

Hi,

Over the last week or so I've started getting sim card errors with my phone. Before I spend 40 mins on hold to Orange, anyone know if this is likely to be an issue with the sim card itself (so getting a replacement from Orange should fix it) or is it likely to be a problem with the phone reading the sim card - in which case I should probably take it back to the shop/send it back to Nokia?

Did you figure out what was wrong with your sim card or whether it was the phone in the end?
