Hi guys, I recently upgraded from the HTC Radar to the Lumia 810 yesterday, and I love this phone. While it definitely feels like an upgrade, the only potential issue I see is the ringtone volume seems to be too low.
I can barely hear the phone ring at volume levels 15-17, compared to the HTC Radar at the same levels. I have to crank the volume all the way to 30 to fully hear it ring.

I'm just curious if you guys experienced this same issue, or if HTC phones are just louder for some reason.

    Thanks guys!

I upgraded from an HD7 and the volume also seems much lower than that one. The HD7 was almost too loud on the lower volume and the 810 isn't quit loud enough. It might just be the 810's speaker isn't as loud as the HTC's.

I didn't had HTC anytime, but I compared with my friend's one. I think Nokia has a lower volume then HTC. For use in my office, I found it better.

I've never had an HTC before, but I think it depends on your ringtone. I tend to keep my 810's volume set to 18 or 20 (I don't hear very well out of my left ear, though). Using the "Glitter" ringtone, which has been better than my custom ringtones I made from various heavy metal songs. I tend to hear that one really well, whether I'm out and it's in my bag or if I'm in another room. Maybe play around with the ringtone options and see which one seems to work best for you?

810 is quite on all levels, plug into AUX in car it's quite, ringtone quite, and everthing dealing with volume on 810 is quite. The EQ helps with sound quality, but plays only at low volume. I'm comparing 810 to a 4th Gen iPod which blows 810 far away.
