Strange Volume Issue

My Mom has been using her trusty 810 since it hit shelves. No problems, been a joy for her, except this recent problem. Audio calls sound low. Audio is fine through the speaker when enabled. Audio sounds good on the other end. When you put it to your ear? Low. Started, a week ago? (I've restarted the 810. Dropped and raised the volumes.) I'm stumped. Thoughts?

You have tried to increase the volume while on a call? I had the same issue when I first got the phone.

Never had that issue on mine. What volume level does she keep her phone on? Mine has always been on 18 or 20 and it was fine whenever I used the phone.
