Hello! I am using a Nokia Lumia 810 on Striaght Talk. It is unlocked and am using a straight talk ATT micro sim card. I have received 2 picture messages. 1 was 32 kb, the 2nd was 9kb. The phone will notify me that a picture message is there as it will read "Get media content now (9kb)" when I press the message it reads "Getting media content... (9kb)" no picture appears. I can send MMS out no problem.

My data and MMS apn settings using access point are...

Data
Access point name: tfdata
network type IPv4

MMS apn
MMS access point name tf data
proxy address mms3.tracfone.com
proxy port 80
mmsc address http://mms-tf.net
network type IPv4

Any help on this confusing issue would be welcomed.

Chuck

Have you tried contacting StraightTalk to get the proper MMS settings? I have never used that network so I can't really help you :-(

Make sure you have an adequate signal where you are trying to receive them... With T-Mobile it's somewhat regular to see that error indoors... If AT&T was dong maintenance in the area or something, it's pretty common to have lower than average coverage. The other issue is that if someone was trying to send them to you that has an iPhone and you used to have an iPhone, you will need to have the IMEI changed on your account as it will try and move it through iMessage.

Hi. I am having the same problem: Unlocked Nokia Lumia 810. I have downloaded the Access Point app, to be able to change the APN settings.
However I am desperately trying to change the Internet/MMS APN setting and no luck till now. I have entered all possible combinations, and still doesn't want to work.... Please help. Thank you

P.S: what about the Network Type? (IPV4/Ipv6/Ipv4v6) and authentication type? (none/pap/chap?) which one should I choose?

Patrick Schmitt, you are a life saver. The only thing different about your instructions than everyone online is to use wap.tracfone in the "MMS Access Point Name" also and that fixed everything. You called the "APN Access Point Name" in the top step MMS by accident, but it all works now thanks to you.
Locked T-Mobile Nokia Lumia 810, with Straight Talk T-Mobile sim, picture messaging working fine now. Sim cut down to micro from standard Straight Talk T-Mobile sim that came in Straight Talk Huawei W1 H883G.
