I noticed that as well a couple days ago. Since the 810 is only for T-Mobile, correct me if I am wrong, it comes down to if T-Mobile wants to update it. If T-Mobile tells Nokia they won't, there isn't any reason to get it working on the phone.

Are you gimps 100% sure that the 810 isn't simply an 820 renamed for t-mobile exclusivity?

I didn't know I was a:
trimming: a silk or cotton trimming that has a wire or cord running through it
Anyways, try doing some research on your own prior to asking. But I will give you a pass once: Yes, I am sure it isn't just a name change.

Yes it's true as of right now the 810 will not be getting the Black update. Why? I don't know. There is no reason why AT&T's 820 and Verizon's 822 are getting it. All 3 are basically the same phone with the exception of the front camera resolution and LTE. It's a much better phone than the 521, and the 521 is getting Black. The 810 is a capable device but it looks like I will have to get a 920 or 1020 that is Penta Band so that it will work 100% on T-Mobile

I think there might be a bit too much frenzy about this (as much as I'd like to see Black on my son's 810). I think it is still not perfectly clear if 810 will eventually get Black. Remember, MS stated that WP8 devices would be getting 8.1 upgrade. It is possible (no clue if feasible) that 810 is simply not getting Black at this point, but might at a later point.

Obviously, all speculation but the truth is - we just do not know for sure what is in store.

Let's keep in mind. We didn't get an earlier Nokia update, but it did come later with Amber. I'm assuming maybe this is the case and we can rest easy until 8.1/Blue are released.

EDIT: Actually we can assume the device is now pretty much dead. We might have better luck getting Android to run on this hardware.

Not sure how reliable these guys are, but this really does seem that we might as well light all our matchsticks and get what little warmth we can out of this.

Tmobile did not update L710 to 7.8. Never explained the reason. Anyway it seem they are doing the same now with 810. I'm glad I don't have it
