Anyone try flashing China firmware onto Lumia 820? Curious as RM-826 supports AWS bands?

I was browsing Lumia 820 specs today when I stumbled upon the specs for RM-826 which is the Lumia 820 for China.

These are the bands listed that it supports:

RM-826, China variant: EGSM 850/900/1800/1900, WCDMA 850/900/1900/2100 and 1700/2100, HSDPA+ Cat14 (21 Mbps), HSUPA Cat 6 (5.76 Mbps)

I'm curious, has anyone tried flashing their AT&T or global variant with this firmware to open up AWS bands? This would be super cool if I could use the 820 on WIND/Mobilicity/T-Mobile.

Cheers

I once did some flashing on my 710 with international firmwares...we don't talk about what happened.

WHile I don't know if it is possible anymore, I would advise against any flashing. WP isn't open like ANdroid and many attempts lead to phones in situations of which we don't speak ;)

Well, I just wonder as i have heard many people flashing their 920 units with all kinds of international firmwares with no problems. I just wonder if people have tried it with their 820s

Not China, but I tried an Europe ROM on 825-HK one. This worked well, only noted missing thing was - I didn't see the Set Time Auto option in the Date Time settings.
