Lumia 820 won't charge/turn on

Hey guys
I've had the Nokia Lumia for about 10 months now, getting it as a present for Christmas, and over the past few days, i've noticed that when I charged the device, it would momentarily stop charging, then resume charging again. Of course, I thought it might have been just a faulty cable so I used my brothers, but the problem still occurred. Until yesterday, it still would charge, but again, would stop then start, then once I plugged it in after the battery went dead, nothing happened; the Nokia or the battery screen didn't come up, neither did it vibrate. I've researched it a bit on these forums and it said to try a soft-reset on the phone, but that didn't do any thing, and neither did a hard-reset. Help guys, all i can think of it being is maybe a faulty connection or the charging ports knackered, but is this the case and what can i do?

Do you have a Nokia Care Center nearby? They should be able to repair or replace the device under warranty.
