Cheap plastic?

I have read a few reviews of the 822 and 810 that have said the plastic feels cheap. One even said that the 810 felt flimsy and that it wouldn't make two years! When I tested the phone in store I thought it felt solid and didn't get a cheap vibe. To those who have this phone and use it everyday... How does it feel to you? Are the reviewers wrong? Thank you.

I would rather have plastic then metal I dropped mine today just a few scratches no big deal. I think the fit and finish is better than the 820.

I have used the phone for a week now, and I have felt the phone is very solid, and never got the cheap plastic feel. I now have my phone in an OtterBox, so I guess the feel no longer matters, but my brother dropped his and the plastic didn't crack or anything, just the normal battle scar from being dropped. I am one of the ones who honestly have been very impressed with the 822, coming from an iPhone 5. I love music, and have hated how bad some Android phones play back music, but the 822 has been great, and Dolby has even sweetened the deal for me. Just can't wait for some crucial apps I use (mSecure & Dropbox-to sync with mSecure)

I have the 810 and it certainly does not feel cheap at all. It's light, but durable and made with quality. Haven't yet seen or handled an 822 but I would guess it's the same in that regard.

The 810,820 and 822 are basically the same device why doesn't Nokia make them all the same? I know a few small features are different but not much.

well the 822 has a few things the 820 doesnt , the 822 has gorilla glass 2 the 820 does not
the 822 has a 1800 mAh battery, the 820 has an 1650 mAh battery
the 822 has 16 gigs of storage the 820 has 8 gigs
the 822 secondary camera is 1280 x 960 pixels resolution and the 820's is 640 x 480 pixels resolution to me those arent a few small differences, double the camera resolution double the onboard storage, and gorilla glass 2 vs standard screen are quite a step up from the 820 even if they arent quite as good as the 920

I feel that there is a loss in quality on the white 822. For some reason it just looked and felt cheap to me. I was excited to get a white one until I saw it in person. I am sad because I really wanted the white one too.
