Question about Transfering Numbers

So my HTC Trophy is still under contract. Can I buy a Nokia 822 off of Ebay and transfer my number to it?

Yes, that is pretty easy to do. Since the 822 has a sim card it's easiest to take it to a Verizon store and they can do it for you.
