822 Firnware Update?

Anyone else getting a update today on their 822?

I went to check for and update a low and behold one was available for download.

Not sure what was updated here's my phone info after the update. I had the Portico installed when it was released....

OS: 8.0.10211.204
Firmware: 1532.5951.1250.1012
Radio: 2.0.0920213

The Lumia Storage Check app still errors out.

Yep, 3 small updates......don't know exactly what they did to the mobile but my 822 reports those updates belong to "main OS" 8.0.10211.204

Weird, I haven't turned on this 822 in weeks and those are the exact same version numbers that I have.

I believe the 3 small updates are some fixes and improvements to 8.0.10211.204

- Improved automatic display brightness adjustment
- Updated proximity sensor parameters
- Performance and stability improvements

got the update myself today...it was weird when you turn on your phone to see live tiles and are greeted by a upgrade message and no info there or here to let you know what it did!

The message that came with the prompt - ' Install / postpone ', read that it's a language update. While I hope that other issues have been fixed as well, it's unlikely.

It ssounds like you recently installed another keyboard language and/or voice. This means you haven't received the update.

I just noticed that on my wife's phone last night. Was weird I thought.

I updated last night but haven't noticed any difference yet. I believe it was just small tweaks. Phone is working fine.

It doesn't mean that. Try this one. Before you ask, I own an 822.

sorry to say but the SMS sending problem still stays "for now"

As i said the recent update is just some minor bug fixes with the OS, Firmware and Radio version stands the same. You can see "automatic display brightness" working a lot better now and also some minor fixes like "mic volume increase", "camera opening up quick" and "small patch for headphone jack to work better with XBOX MUSIC" and few more performance fixes.

After the update if you are getting "unable to connect to store at this time" error message when you are inside the app store or trying to install an app.......restarting the phone couple of times should fix it.

No, its OTA for 822's all over the world......restart your phone and try checking for update once again. Remember even after the update your OS, firmware and Radio versions will remain the same as it was before the update.
