Any news on tne firmware update?

My 822 has over 10 gigs in other storage. The update is long past due to enable storage check.

For now, no. Sorry. I can't feel your pain, but I really hope Microsoft (as it is a Microsoft issue, not nokia's) is trying to fix it, and not making nokia do all the work.

I've noticed "comments" on these forums referring to version numbers as four digits that don't make any sense to me? It's confusing.

I have a Nokia Lumia 822 on Verizon. I have 6.6 GB of "Other" out of 16 GB total internal memory. I have 700 MB internal free space left.
I have 18 GB of music, pictures, and video stored on my 60 GB SD card memory.

My OS version is 8.0.10211.204
Firmware Revision number is: 1532.5951.1250.1012.

What "version" do you have?

I am hoping for a version update of something, to fix the "Other" Storage problem so I don't have to do all the work of hard resetting my phone to free up "Other" internal memory Storage space.

O, I'm hoping for an update too that will not lock my phone to Verizon. Lol!
