Can the 822 be connected to the Straight Talk BYOP CDMA network? I know on there website it says it is not eligible but is that just because it will not provide 4g service? As long as voice, text, and 3g data work I would be good!

If it cant be connected to the Straight Talk CDMA can it be connected to the Straight Talk GSM?

no, it has to be on that list because Verizon approves that list.

This is why I will NEVER buy a ESN locked CDMA phone.

I got one second hand and have been able to use it with my Straight talk att sim, talk, text and web but can't get mms to work. You have to download access point to input the settings. I also tried to see if Straight talk would work on the cdma part and said not eligible too.
