awful sound through phone speker in L822

Hi all,

while playing music on phone, the sound is so awful!!!!!!!! Is it a prob with the L822 speaker or its jst mine ?? Any1 else having horrible sound quality?? :unhappy:

How does it sound if you use headphones?

Is the sound acceptable during phone calls using the speaker phone?

I have the usual sound quality out of my prototype 822, it's just the headphone jack was worn out before receiving it, nothing stays in it unless it's held in.

@ Laura - Sound quality is pretty good on headphones. Find this problem on speaker only. All music, ringtones everything sounds really bad through the speaker. Guess its my speaker problem thn.. :/

The speaker is pretty bad on the 822, especially above volume 15 or so. It's quite harsh.

How bad is it? I had an HTC Trophy with a blown-out speaker before, the sound quality was terrible, so I got a replacement.

Its terrible from day 1. Unfortunately, dont have the option of replacement since I'm stuck with L822 in India.. But apart from this.. i love this phone!!!!! The only option i have is to take it to Nokia service, but since Nokia is not having L822 in India, i'm bit reluctant to give to service ppl..!!

so finally... my L822 stock speaker is completely gone... :/ RIP !! gotta head to Nokia care 2mrw.. :unhappy:
