FYI: One of our 822's became unbootable tonight. Verizon informed us that they are no longer selling the 822 and sure enough it's no longer available on the Verizon site. This may be old news around here but it surprised us.
Yes, I tried "NSU for Retail v4.1.0" and it downloaded firmware then immediately fails to install the firmware with error 0x80131500. I'm open for any suggestions! I also found the Nokia Care app but they don't seem to be open for outside access any more.
Nokia support told us to try palcocellphonerepair.com since it's a month past the warranty. Has anyone tried them for fixing firmware?
FYI - the repair company Nokia referred us to says that they cannot fix this error. So... if you are so unfortunate as to get the no boot option with 0x80131500 your sadly out of luck and I hope your phone is under warranty or insured b/c its unfixable.
