How will I get Windows 8.1 on My AT&T 822w?

It's possible that MS / Verizon passed directly to the Denim Update in 2015? That really would be a good thing.
If not mistaken the Samsung Ativ passed from Amber to Cyan, maybe MS can work on this for the benefit of us.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't. Amber/cyan/denim a Lumia only update? And 8.1 is different than cyan? If I'm wrong, please correct me. If I am correct, then there's a little misinformation in this thread..

You're correct. They aren't the same. Cyan/Denim are firmware updates for Lumia phones while 8.1 is a Microsoft OS update.

I too had a 822 which I loved from day one! The Friday the 830 came out I dumped Verizon and couldn't be happier! They suck! Overrated and overpriced!

That is my working plan at the moment. Dump Verizon and pick up an 830. How are you liking the 830?

Dude, I absolutely love it! Took me about a day to get use to the bigger size and that third row of live tiles.
