    I've had several updates or new apps queued for a couple days - all saying "Pending". I've recently updated to 8.1 and that seems to be when the issue began. Coincidence? Maybe. I've rebooted the phone, removed all the apps from the queue and added back just one. No luck Anyone else seen this or have an idea how to proceed?

    I also have this issue and I narrowed it down to my microSD Card. I am unable to update apps or install new apps on my microSD card. I am able to take photos and have them saved on the microSD Card. When I reboot the phone it asks me if I want to scan the card for errors.

    I tried to reformat the card via the phone and with my Windows PC but I am unable to reformat it. I have no idea what to do. I can read the card with my PC but I am unable to delete anything off of it.

    Your SD card has a problem.
    You could try to use a program like in this link.https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_4/index.html to try to format your card. (link may not be the latest version, but you can bing for it)

    If that does not work you probably need to replace your SD card.
    Also if you can format it and the error comes back I would suggest you to replace the SD card.

    Thanks! I will try this, hopefully the program can format the card. I wonder how the card could get corrupted.

    SanDisk has a 10 year warranty so I filed a claim. It looks like the card failed so it can no longer write or modify. Otherwise I am not having issues with updating or downloading apps besides NFL Mobile. I uninstalled the app and it keeps on trying to install again.
