A big disappointment with 830

Now the official specs of microsoft Lumia 830 are clear.Surely for some it lived up to their expectations but for many it failed completely like for me.And please don't give the name of affordable Flagship for me affordable flagship was Nokia lumia 820.
Previous 920 and 820 have shared core similar specs like equal camera(no ois),equal ram,equal processor..
Lumia 830 not having a single specs greater or equal to Lumia 930..They have done everything half of Lumia 930..
Half ram
Half processor(from 2.2 snap 800 to 1.2 snap 400)
Half camera
Half resolution
Half internal memory
Half front camera
Less battery..
and whats the trend of inserting 1.2 ghz snap 400 in 630,730,830??
Where is the difference in processor??
A complete let down more for Indian users where Microsoft removed Lumia 930 from india..

the front camera is such a **** take, i'd rather buy a lumia 925 for ?160 than this crap.
i think they'll end up doing the same thing they did with the 920 and 925 when they realise their stupidity, i expect a 835 with the correct specs

Bro i would love to buy different phone but would you just help me in selecting lumia here in INDIA ..1520 is too big..830 awful outdated..930 will not be releasing here sooner until 2015..so your post just tried to convinced me to buy an android or apple.Ha ha lol..

Yeah only the same SOC but not the same camera(ois is a big difference). The 820 was still a bad phone.

I'm surprised to see the 820 is getting so much appreciation when it was more crappy than the 830 can ever be. So what if the 820 had the same soc with the 920 when the display and battery were total crap for it's price. Those are way bigger let downs than a S400 cpu that will perform without any problems WP 8.1

What benefits would a S800 soc have brought to the 830? psychological relief?

S800 would bring 4K and smooth performance in any app or game. And S400 is slower in all aspects compared to S4 Plus in L820. Paired with higher resolution screen you can forget smooth performance in most high end games. I would sacrifice 5" HD720 screen for the same screen as in Lumia 820 but have top CPU and GPU.
As a conclusion Lumia 820 was the missing link between L920 and L720. It was sort of a GT racing car performance wise with all the rest at least "enough". 830 will never replace 820.

The majority of people were content with how the Moto G played games(it has the same soc and 1gb ram) so why would the 830 be so much worst??
You are overestimating the S4 soc by a big margin if you think that.
Yeah the 480x800 screen of the 400$ L820 was amazing. An S800 soc would be a great pair for that screen resolution or for a 720p resolution.

Who was missing a 1,600mah battery and a 480x800 screen?? Even the 720 had a bigger battery.
The only good part of the 820 were the cpu and gpu and an OK camera but it lacked it the rest of the areas.

So why the double standards?

I've never had the opportunity to use a Windows Phone powered by a Snapdragon 400, however the Android devices I've used running a Snapdragon 400 we're pretty great and handled pretty much everything I threw at them.

The 830 running a Snapdragon 400 is dissapointing because Nokia promised a flagship experience, and it is priced too high.

A Snapdragon 800 has other advantages as well, other than just speed.

I'm going to wait for a better phone. I have the HTC 8x and it's quite dated, but I'm not committing to the 830 with a snapdragon 400 for two years. I absolutely LOVE everything else about the phone. But, the low end processor is just a deal breaker for me.

Then buy apple or android, what's wrong with that? No one is forcing you that you should only buy a windows phone. Whatever complaining you will do you can't change the fact that that's the final specs for the 830, love it or hate it dude.
