    Hi everyone,

my gf found the Lumia 830 on a website for 269, including a wireless charging plate.
She's had the Lumia 635 for 9 months, and could sell it second hand for ~80 (few scratches on screen).

Is this a good idea, or a waste of money?
I'm also concerned about the camera speed, is it good with the new Lumia Camera app (seen it on a 930, super fast)?
Is the battery life alright, can it last more than a day?

Bing told me that it equals 288.92 US Dollars for my fellow American WC users.

I don't think its a bad price at all. I'm not interested in one at the moment, but I don't think I'll have any complaints if I had that deal thrown at me.

The question is if she values the benefits enough to pay the extra, since the 635 already covers most of the smartphony bases.

The rollout of the update which enables the super-speedy camera has been... well..., spotty. Many 830's have Lumia Camera 5, which has super speed as one of its features. (insert Professor Zoom joke here)

The battery life is definitely not-bad. It'll destroy my 920, new or not.
GSMArena's battery test information indicates the 830 is slightly superior to the 635.

Although this can change depending on defects, usage, software updates...
But it'll definitely last more than a day for me, since my 920 is about OK.
