Why does my Windows phone 8.1 downgrade keep failing on my L830?

Windows phone 8.1 Downgrade keeps failing on L830.

I am trying to revert back to Windows phone 8.1 from windows phone 10 TP.
After a lot of trying on different pc's i got my L830 recognized by windows phone recovery tool and nokia recovery tool. although nokia recovery tool is saying that my phone isnt supported and that i should use the windows phone recovery tool.

Problem is: Window phone recovery tool sees my phone and says that there is an older software version available. but as soon as the install reaches Switching phone to Flash-mode > Checking anti-theft protection, it fails.

I could really use some help.

Disable your pin lock and check your settings if you have the reset prevention mode enabled. I think it was somewhere in the find my phone section or update & security

I disabled my Sim pin code. Also my L830 doesn't have reset prevention. Still the same error.

Already fixed it with the nokia software updater for retail 4.3.2. Worked perfectly. It even updated the phone to 8.1.2.
