the keyboard sounds are tied to the master volume, if you raise it up, they should get louder.

that's right...I keep the volume around 15 since the volume at 30 is too loud when the phone rings.

There's also frankly no guarantee, or even a hint of a guarantee, that anything better will be out in the fall. Look how long it took the Lumia to make it to market from its announcement, now consider that Windows Phone 8 isn't even done yet, with no indication that it will be done this year at all, and it makes you wonder just how accurate the rumors about Apollo devices being out this year really are.

It's $100 or nothing if you are coming to AT&T. As Nike used to say, "just do it."

Just recieved and activated my Cyan Lumia 900! Love this phone!! It's faster at everything, no keyboard issues, and new search functionality when searching for apps. Oh, and the Nokia apps are great!
