other people hear themselves

hey all, going on 6th day w my lumia. so far its ok. new problem started today. every1 that i spoke to said that they hear themselves while talking to me. after i got home i called myself and yes its happening, an annoying echo. i hard reset the phone and now it does it randomly. any ideas what could be causing this?? any1 else having this issue??

I've had random echo syndrome on several phones from several carriers. It has always gone away on its own. Give it a few days and if the problem remains consistent then consider getting a replacement.

Sometime it happens when there is feedback from your speaker into the microphone.

Are you using some kind of case to protect your phone? If yes, remove it to see if the problem goes away.

Try a lowering the speaker volume next time it happens and see if it helps.

Try using a headset (for better separation between mic and speaker) to see if the echo goes away.

If you still get echo, it could be the phone or the network.
