I know that WP8 is right around the corner, and I know this is supposedly outdated, but I just couldn't help myself.

Am I crazy for not caring about the fact that this won't be getting WP8?

If you ordered it on-contract in the States, yes, you're crazy. The Lumia 820 will be nearly as cheap on-contract and will be better in nearly every respect. But that's what return policies are for, right?

If you ordered it off-contract and got a good deal, then no, not as much.

    :)

I didn't order it on contract, I ordered it unlocked completely.

I plan on throwing it on Straight Talk.

I just really really liked my Titan (aside from the call quality being 'are you in a tunnel?')

That makes more sense. The Lumia 900 is still a really nice phone, I just wouldn't sign a two year contract on one at this point.

I don't plan on ever signing a two year contract.

I save quite a bit of money over the course of the two years with my method.

AT&T was charging 100$ a month for the service I'm getting for about 50$.

    Yikes.

Umm yes, crazy IMO - but hey, whatever makes you happy. Just hope you got a great deal on it.

    Could you elaborate?

I don't know what I'm missing out on when it comes to my phone experience.

Your 900 is a great phone, and obv has tons of great features. IMO its just not the best time when newer hardware, with better specs, new features, and a new OS are just 1-2 weeks away to enhance that experience further than ever before. Again, if your happy with the purchase then that's all that matters.

I am with you on this issue. I am 30 days and out.

I am not on a MVNO like you, but I think about it everytime I pay my AT&T bill. :D

The only thing I might have done was waited to see what unlocked Lumia 820 devices go for in the States. I don't know how much you paid for your Lumia 900, though, so I can't say what would be a good deal.

What do you think it'll end up costing for an unlocked 820?

I got a Lumia 900 a month ago, but I got it off Craigslist for $200. I'm on StraightTalk as well.

Probably about $499, if I had to take a guess based off the current off-contract price of the 900. But again, that's a guess. We might know as soon as tomorrow, if the Best Buy ad leak is accurate.

The 900 is a solid phone. Returned my IP5 for one, sold my ATT gs3 and my international 9300 is in he drawer and don't miss it. The Lumia 900 is just as good for day to day use and the 920 should be that much better

What's the going market for one? How much do you all think I can fetch for an AT&T locked Lumia 900?

I have to say that I love the 900, and it does everything I need my phone to do - although I am usually the one that had pre-ordered everything at full retail a week before it comes out - with Windows Phone there seems to be more of a balance between devices.

In my non-contract WP fury, I have gone through a Radar, 710, Titan and now a 900... And honestly, if T-Mo's coverage would have been a bit better with the Radar (or if they had built the Wi-Fi calling App for it) I never would have left it to start with... Great phones, every single one of them...

Now for the Apps - get Nokia Drive, Music and Network Setup... Then start playing with the rest...
