I gave up, we're not getting it...EVER! They just want us to upgrade. And the teasing process they seem to be implementing is not fun.

Read some other threads. :P. I already posted that 8862.13100 is up on the Nokia server. I have it on my 900 as we speak. If it is on the server that usually means a public rollout is due soon.

Right because Nokia didn't just restrict access to their servers days ago, you are full of it.

I've been waiting since Jan 31. The rumored update was supposed to be present on AT&T L900 before any other WP7 device. But I suppose that's not the case of course.....even four months later. Big mistake for making Carriers manage update for WP devices. By the time I upgrade ill have a new WP8 device., so I guess this ismwhatnthey were aiming for.

They might be keeping you of their server. Try NCS, using tools posted by me on another thread.

78er is for OS updates. Unless something has changed(doubtful), it does not update firmware.

Check your firmware version. It won't match up. That's why I mentioned that 78er is for OS updates only.

I'd rather wait for an official update than use 3rd party tools. I want a phone that works when I need it, not a test system. Although the laggy tiles are pretty annoying.

The 3rd party tools update your phone to the official version.

Minus the updated firmware....which is what I keep repeating. The updated firmware does make a difference in this case.

Precisely. This is a phone. Firmware matters as much as an OS update does.

Done via Mac WP Connector. Took long enough but looks good so far. Up to "7.10.8862.144" finally. Bluetooth seems to be working on mine Orlok.
