How do I get Windows Phone 8.1 for Lumia 900 with OS version 7.10.8862.144?

Currently my lumia 900 on OS version 7.10.8862.144. when i try to search for preview for developers, i cannot see it in market place. When i try to download through web, it says your phone is not supported.
How to get it.

You are running wp 7.8. It is not possible to upgrade to wp 8 due to different architecture of os. Solution: Buy WP 8 phone.

Preview for developers is only for phones that came with Windows phone 8. Lumia 900 cannot be updated to Windows phone 8 hence windows phone 7.8 is the highest you can go.

I wouldn't sweat it too much. The 900 with 7.8 still rocks!

Had one till it broke. Got an HTC 8S with 8.1 now. It's very cool, but I still miss my 900. Great build quality, design, screen and camera.

Love my Lumia 900 on 7.8. Even when cracked, I still love that thing! I occasionally pull it out of the drawer and use it, it's a great device!

dad joke aside, i don't think you can get official instagram, but there might be a solid third-party, don't know if those are on 7 though.

I thought the camera on the 900 was a pile of "****" lol

The 920 was the first windows phone from Nokia that had a good camera.

Indeed. I found my Lumia 900's camera to be very lacking, the Carl Zeiss optics were very overhyped.

Sorry, but the Lumia 900 cannot be updated to Windows Phone 8/8.1, and Skype for Windows Phone 7.8 is no longer supported. In fact, Windows Phone 7.x support ended as of 14 October 2014. Your only option is to get a newer device. Microsoft Product Lifecycle Search
