Just FYI...see those vertical streaks on the streetlamps (not the bus)? Clean your lens. Everytime I take a shot at night these days I wipe the lens on my shirt a few times.

All of them were edited in either fhotoroom or creative studio, except for the first one. These were taken without the firmware fix

I usually keep the lens very clean and keep a micro fiber handy. So far I haven't had good look when shooting a light source at night. I'll try to clean everytime before taking a shot. Thanks for the tip!

no edits, iso on 100-200, new FW, WB flourenscent in house. I love this camera now. With the night shots, amazing macro shots, great daytime and best video recorder, I am finally fully happy

I love how you can tap on areas of the lens to focus more detail.

What is the best way to upload pictures here? I know many sites will degrade the quality, so wondering if anyone has confirmed the best way? I currently go off my SkyDrive.

Does anyone know if SkyDrive will lower resolution when uploading via WiFi?

Photobucket is one of my favorites and works well.

I totally forgot I had a Photobucket account! I will be using that site from now on to upload photos here.

The update has made the camera perfect in my eyes! No more soft shots outside! I'm going to try and upload some more shots this weekend since the weather is so nice outside.

Why do you need Photobucket to upload pics? Is that an alternative to just downloading the file from SkyDrive to your desktop, then uploading it to here from your desktop? Or is this necessary if you just want to use a tablet or phone to upload pics here?

Go into your photos app, in to your camera roll, flick up at the 3 dots at the bottom right to get to sky drive settings.

You can choose the quality here . If you choose best quality the photo does not get scaled down. You can also copy pics to a public folder on your SkyDrive and just share the folder.

I wish there was an easier way of directly linking/embedding from Skydrive to here. It's certainly a bit of a pain.

I see a lot of people are playing with their ISO settings, I'm doing some test pictures with auto and iso set from 100-200 and see what looks better. I'll post here.

What? You mean tapping on the screen/preview to focus? That has always been a part if the camera feature across all lumias
