No one has mentioned this, but...

How do those new Windows Phone 8 apps look on the amazing 920's screen? Pixelated? Uber high def?

Are there any other apps that look incredible on the 920?

Are there black bars? There should not be, as 800x480 is exactly the same as 1280x768.

Absolutely no problems with the screen at all. Nothing to worry about. The screen's PureMotion HD+ really makes colors jump at you!

I mean the apps optimised for the new resolution.... is that new Angry Birds game 1280x768?

What about the new Twitter update that just came out today, is it 1280x768?

I remember how much I suffered using pixelated apps on my iPhone 4 the first week I had it.

I guess that would depend on the type of graphics used in the apps. If it's mostly just text, then the text should scale without any pixelation at all as it is somewhat of a vector format.

I've never developed apps for a mobile device, but I do a lot of graphics work in both a raster and vector environment. From what I've seen of WP it is largely based on typography, so the text should scale very well.

Obviously there will situations where developers have created custom graphics for the lower resolutions, and those may take a little bit of time to be updated.

What about games?

After watching a youtube video in 1080p of a 920 running Angry Birds Star Wars I can safely say that it is 1280x768. It looks awesome!

Any other apps updated like that?
