Pinning Bing Maps

Nokia Maps has "replaced" Bing Maps on the new Nokia WP8 devices, but actually if you click a street address link (whether in the People Hub, text messaging, or on the browser) it takes you to Bing Maps not Nokia Maps.

The Nokia Maps app is annoying because it's not natively part of the OS, meaning every time you load it it shows you the app's splash screen and there is a 5 second delay before it shows you actual maps.

Bing Maps isn't available on the app list even though it exists on the device. So my question is, how do I get it back so I can pin it to the Start Screen instead of the horrible Nokia Maps app?

You can't, at least not at the moment. For Nokia phones, Nokia Maps almost completely replaces the old Maps UI (which is really Nokia Maps with a different UI).

Only workaround I can think of would be to pin local scout to the home screen. Then you can open local scout quickly, tap the map, and you get right back to the old Maps UI.
