Hi guys. I have a question about WiFi and mobile data in WP7/8.
On my Nokia C7 (Symbian) I'm used to having my phone connect to wifi (if available) or 2G/3G (if no wifi available) to fetch emails etc. and then it closes connection automatically.
Which saves battery.
So far I've read that WP connects to Wifi (if available) and stays connected all the time. (i know about the glitch where locked screen shuts wifi off).
Is it possible to make it close connection once it has fetched emails or whatever I have set it up to do? Just like it does in Symbian.
Really hope it is or will be possible. No need to stay connected all the time unless you choose this in settings.
