So now that the cat is out of the bag and we see AT&T's 920 off-contract price and T-Mo's 810 Off-contract price are the same ($450), which one is the cheaper choice?

Someone mentioned the 920 can be used on Net10 to get monthly 3G data, while T-Mo can use their Monthly 4G for the same $30, correct? Am I misssing something?

the 920 is always the better choice (from the hardware-sight) and therefore the cheapter choice) I don't know about the plans you can get, but I'm sure its the same for both. Get the 920 with NFC, big screen and better battery/camera/.../.

Net10/Straight Talk are both $45 a month with unlimited min, sms, and data. Their data is really limited to 2-3GB. They can throttle you without notice.

Tmobile has a $30 a month prepaid plan. This one has 100 min, unlimited sms, and unlimited data with 5GB at full speed.

So over 2 years, Net10 is $1080 + phone. TMobile is $720.

If you don't use a lot of minutes the Tmobile plan is a really good deal.

With the money I save every month using Tmobile, I spent a little more on a dev lumia 920. It works great with tmobile.

What about getting an AT&T Lumia 920 and unlocking it after 6 months (thats then AT&T starts unlocking them right?)

I don't use minutes at all, so T-Mobile is the better option. I just looked on ebay, and dev 920s are going for $800+, almost twice as much as the AT&T 920...

Also, it seems the 810 is out of the question. Just came back from my local T-Mo, and the off contract price is $600 it seems :S
