Make sure that USB settings on your computer / laptop are not set to go to sleep ( in the power settings for your computer, usb suspended state ) also make sure the cable on the 920 is plugged in all the way in ( I know it's silly but I have done that myself a few times haha, really push it in until you can't see the silver tip ).

Mine is the same way, kind of feels like it's about to break off... On the phone with AT&T for the past 2 hours trying to process an exchange

Mine also moves a little to sides when plugged. I have seen same thing on a couple more devices (like my 2 year old bluetooth headphones.) it should not be a problem.
Moving a little to the side is normal, but if it's so loose that movement causes device to stop charging, then it needs to be exchanged.

I think I have the same issue. There's a gap between the USB cable and the phone. Also, when I push the cable in, there isn't a "click" that you feel with other phones. Does anyone else have the same issue?
