Otterbox Defender Series Nokia Lumia 920

I just purchased the otter box from AT&T for my red Lumia 920. I love the case so far, just have one issue. When you to go set the top piece with the screen protector, is there any easy way to keep the underside of the protector clean until you can click it into place? I probably spent about an hour unsnapping it, and putting it back on because of a small piece of hair, dust, or anything else that wanted to just whisk under the screen protector while I was putting it together. Is there an easier method that I don't know about?

good wipe with microfiber towel on both the screen protector and phone.
